Three separate questions
- Capability: When can models/tools cover the core outputs of my role? (Changes as tech moves.)
- Handoff: Am I willing—and allowed—to delegate decisions and accountability?
- Competition: Can others + AI replicate my visible deliverables more cheaply?
Practical move
- Split your work into highly repetitive vs judgment-heavy tasks; automate the former first, keep humans in the loop for the latter.
- Write acceptance criteria before talking about “full automation.”
